Sell your lawn care accounts. Keep your customers in good hands.

I'm Craig. My local lawn care and irrigation company buys mowing, fertilization, weed control and irrigation accounts across central Indiana. Let's talk first. No paperwork, no customer names.

Meet Craig

Owner of a local lawn care and irrigation company

I run a local lawn care and irrigation company in the Indianapolis area. When an owner is ready to step back, I take over their customers so nobody is left without service, pay fairly for the accounts, and buy the equipment if they want to sell it. If you'd rather keep working, there's a place on our team.

We never ask for customer names until we've talked. When you're ready to share details, you'll get a private page and a mutual confidentiality agreement that protects you and your customers.

What we buy

Recurring residential and light-commercial accounts. Each line goes to the company that already runs it every day.

Mowing & maintenance

Our lawn crews

Weekly and biweekly residential routes, HOAs and light commercial.

Fertilization & weed control

Our licensed applicators

Round programs, grub control, aeration and seeding add-ons.

Irrigation service

Our irrigation techs

Spring start-ups, winterizations, checkups and repair customers.

Pest & mosquito

Case by case

Considered alongside one of the lines above.

How you get paid

Every offer has the same three parts. You choose which ones you want.

Your accounts

Paid monthly

An earn-out, usually over 24 months. You get paid for every customer that stays with us. Larger books on annual agreements earn more.

Your equipment

Cash at closing

Trucks, trailers, mowers and spray rigs bought at fair wholesale value. Optional, and financed gear is fine.

Your job, if you want it

Join our team

Keep servicing the customers you know with a steady paycheck. We handle the office, billing, scheduling and chemical buying.

How it works

  1. 1

    Talk with Craig

A quick call or a cup of coffee. No paperwork and no customer names, just whether this makes sense for you.

  2. 2

    Share details privately

You get a private page with a mutual confidentiality agreement. Share your customer list and equipment photos however is easiest.

  3. 3

    Get your final offer

Your written offer shows up on the same page: monthly payments for your accounts, cash for equipment, and a job if you want one.

Who's buying

WeBuyLawnCare.com is run by the owner of a local lawn care and irrigation company in the Indianapolis area. Your customers stay with people who do the same work, in the same neighborhoods, every week. You'll know exactly who we are on our first call, and our company is named in the confidentiality agreement we both sign.

  • You deal with the owners, not a broker or a fund.
  • Licensed for lawn applications and irrigation in Indiana.
  • Your customers keep their service without a gap.

Questions owners ask

Why monthly payments instead of a check at closing?

Your accounts are worth what they keep paying. An earn-out lets us pay a fair price for every customer that stays, instead of discounting the whole book to cover the ones that might leave. Equipment we buy is paid in cash at closing.

What happens to my customers?

They move to our team, a local Indianapolis-area company doing the same work in the same neighborhoods. We introduce ourselves together so the change feels like a handoff, not a sale.

Do I have to sell my equipment?

No. You can sell us the accounts only, or the accounts and equipment. We pay wholesale for trucks, trailers, mowers and spray gear, so you get a quick, clean sale without listing anything.

Some of my equipment is financed. Is that a problem?

Usually not. Loan payoffs are cleared from the equipment proceeds at closing, and anything left over is yours.

Can I keep working?

Yes, if you want to. Plenty of owners like the field work but not the office work. You can join our team, keep taking care of the customers you know, and leave billing, scheduling, chemical buying and payroll to us.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Your answers go only to the owners. We don't contact your customers or employees until you say so, and before you share any customer details we both sign a mutual confidentiality agreement.

How firm is the ballpark?

It's a rough range based on a few numbers. Your final offer comes after we talk, you share your customer list privately, and we walk around your equipment. Then we put the numbers in writing.

Thinking about stepping back?

A conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
